About Limber
After 12 successful years involved in sport, medalling at state and national level Lauren knew that her love for sport and exercise did not end there and she was inspired to pursue a career in the sporting and fitness realm.
Following her many years of dedicated gymnastics training and teaching, Lauren pursued tertiary study at Deakin University with a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Exercise Science, Nutrition and Psychology. She then went onto complete an Honours year researching the benefits of gymnastics based flexibility and power training. With her elite sporting background, teaching experience and tertiary qualifications under her belt Lauren finalised her vision with the creation of Limber Sports Performance.
Lauren now runs the Limber Ladies Fitness Program for Women as well as consulting with Athletes and Sports Teams and teaching Exercise Science subjects at Deakin University.
Our Philosophy
Limber recognises that both Females & Males for the most part benefit from different styles of training, as do the elite athletes of each sport. Therefore, Lauren and her team have been committed to developing specific flexibility training programs including Limber Ladies, Limber Gents & Limber Athletes.
